Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh, an edupreneur, has also been actively involved in the film industry, leading numerous initiatives over the years. Inspired by his father, Ishari Velan, a prominent actor since the era of MGR, Dr. Ganesh entered the Tamil film industry over two decades ago as a producer with the movie Doubles, starring the renowned actor Prabhu Deva. Since then, he has produced several successful films under the banner of Vels Film International.

Notably, Vels Film International has been behind the production of several hit films, including Jayam Ravi’s Bogan and Comali, Vijay Sethupathi’s Junga, Prabhu Deva’s Devi and Devi 2, RJ Balaji’s LKG, and Singapore Saloon, among others. In 2023, Vels Film International achieved a significant milestone by becoming a public limited company
